Children are not simply small adults. They have special wishes, fears and needs. That is why we strive to create a close relationship of trust between the child, parents and practice team.

In order to build trust, “familiarization appointments” can be arranged. They allow the child to discover the practice and learn about it in a fun way. During these appointments, comprehensive advice is given on dental care and nutrition in the first months and years of life.

We recommend a clinical examination for children twice a year to detect early signs of demineralization and to maintain healthy teeth through fissure sealing, oral hygiene, nutritional education, and fluoridation. We also offer advice to parents and children about caries and its treatment. Basic prophylactic care for children up to 18 years of age is covered by health insurance.

We offer advice and treatment specially tailored to the age group (including fluoridation, sealing, and brushing exercises). Between the ages of 6 and 18 years, particular care is given to orthodontic treatment and intensive oral hygiene education. We recommend that you take part in this program every quarter.

For very active children and teenagers we also provide sports mouthguards and tooth rescue boxes.
