The dental practice Dr. Gundel Ollmann (hereinafter “we”) collects and processes personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services and is permitted under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and national data protection laws.

Below you will find information about your rights as well as the type and scope of data collected and processed through this website.

2. Definition of terms

2.1 Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as “data subject”). 2.4 Pseudonymization is the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures to ensure that the personal data are not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.

2.5 The person responsible is the person who decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data and carries out these processing accordingly.

2.6 Processor is another natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the person responsible.

2.7 Recipient is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body to whom personal data is disclosed.

2.8 Consent of the data subject is any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes in the form of a statement or other unambiguous confirmatory act by which he or she signifies agreement to the processing of personal data concerning him or her.

2.9 Personal data breach means a breach of security leading to accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

2.10 Health data means personal data relating to the physical or mental health of a natural person, including the provision of healthcare services, and which reveal information about the state of health.

2.11 Supervisory authority is an independent public authority established by a Member State pursuant to Article 51 GDPR, which is responsible for monitoring compliance with data protection laws and regulations.

3. Information on the processing of personal data

We process your personal data using various technical options and, if necessary, with the involvement of other service providers (contract processing). We will inform you about the specific details of the processing in the following points.

3.1 Visiting our website: When you visit our website for information purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you use our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Content of the request (specific page)
  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Amount of data transferred in each case

3.2 Log files: The data listed in 3.1 is also automatically saved in the log files of our server. This logged data is stored separately from other data and can only be viewed by the host. The storage period is seven days. The legal basis for the processing of your data when you visit our website is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f GDPR and Section 15 of the Telemedia Act (TMG).

3.3 Use of cookies: In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your device when you use our website. 3.6 Integration of Google Web Fonts: On this website we may use Google Web Fonts to improve the visual presentation. These are fonts that are retrieved from a Google server when you visit our website and stored in your browser’s cache to display our website. You can find more information at https://fonts.google.com/about#. The legal basis for the use of Google Web Fonts is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f GDPR. When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have visited it. 4. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to the processing of personal data concerning you, which you can assert at any time without any formalities to the contact person listed above under “Responsible person”.

4.1 Right to information, Article 15 GDPR: Upon request, we will provide you with information about which personal data we have stored about you, for what purpose, for what duration, from what source and on what legal basis, and whether we have disclosed this data to third parties.

4.2. Right to rectification, Article 16 GDPR: If it turns out that the personal data we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, we will correct or supplement it immediately upon request.

4.3 Right to erasure (»right to be forgotten«), Article 17 GDPR: You have the right to have your personal data erased immediately, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.

4.4 Right to restriction of processing, Article 18 GDPR: You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.

4.5 Right to object to processing, Article 7 Paragraph 3 GDPR: You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time. This applies in particular if the legal basis for the processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f GDPR.

4.6 Right to data portability, Article 20 GDPR: You have the right to receive the personal data we have about you in a universally readable format.

4.7 Right to complain to a supervisory authority, Article 77 GDPR: You also have the right to complain to the responsible data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
