Let us say a few sentences about Potsdamer Strasse, affectionately known as “Potse”. This street has always been a thoroughfare and, for some time, ended directly at the Wall. Defying “Potse”, which means to cross it in heavy traffic, is a most athletic discipline. Our practice is within sight of Potsdamer Platz. The Neue Nationalgalerie, the Kulturforum, the State Library, the Philharmonie – everything is to the right and left of the “Potse” and therefore in the immediate vicinity of our practice. Next to us is the traditional variety theater “Wintergarten”, which has been given a new lease of life.
